Author Guidelines

Authors are encouraged to read these guidelines carefully before submitting their manuscripts to the Proceedings of the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music International Symposium. Submissions that do not comply with the required format, content, and referencing style may be returned to the author for revision before entering the review process.

Submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by any other journal, conference, or publication. Authors are responsible for the accuracy of the content, the proper acknowledgment of all sources, and the securing of permission for any copyrighted material included in the manuscript.

Manuscripts should be written in clear and accurate academic English. Submissions must be prepared in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF format, and a PDF version may also be requested in order to verify layout, figures, tables, and special characters.

A complete manuscript should normally include the title of the paper, author name(s), institutional affiliation(s), abstract, keywords, main text, and references. Manuscripts must follow the formatting requirements of the proceedings, including font, margins, paragraph style, and the placement of tables, figures, and other illustrative materials at the appropriate points in the text.

All citations and references must conform to the required style guidelines. The proceedings uses APA 7th edition referencing style, and authors are encouraged to include DOIs or URLs for sources whenever available.

All submissions will first be screened by the editorial team. Manuscripts that meet the basic requirements will proceed to the peer review process in accordance with the symposium’s review policy. Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts in response to editorial comments or reviewers’ recommendations before final acceptance.

Authors are advised to ensure that all submission requirements are met before submitting their manuscripts in order to facilitate an efficient review and publication process.
